  5. Tonight is the final of Ballylennon Charity Singles in Deele College Raphoe starting at 7.30. Everyone is welcome and there will be a draw for a large Taylor Bowls bag kindly sponsored by Robert McCullough from the Co. Antrim Indoor Bowling Club.

  6. Congratulations to Norman Rutledge, Sixmilecross, who won this event by beating Lexi Gilfillan, St Johnston Masonic, in the final. Semi-final spots were filled by Danny McLaughlin, Greenbank, and Trevor McIntyre, Magilligan. Other competitors in the final were Daniel O’Kane, St Eunans, Raphoe, Derek McClintock, St Johnston BC, Shane Heavron, St Canices, Dungiven, Joe Duggan, Dunfanaghy, Mark Beattie, Strabane CC, Andy Steele, Greenbank, Mick Trowlen, Milford, David Doherty, Ardstraw, Ashley Sproule, Castlederg Methodist, Cecil Jacob, Ramelton, Stuart McSorley, Ardstraw, and Alan McLaughlin. The club appreciate the support of the 276 bowlers who entered the event and also the support of Nixon Alexander Financial Services, Ian Tinney and Sons, Kee’s Hotel, Stranorlar, McElhinneys Department Store, Ballybofey, Brindley Manor Nursing Home, Convoy and Reynolds of Raphoe. The winner of the Taylor Bowls bag, sponsored by Robert McCullough was won by Damien McCracken.The big winners, of course, were the Adam McDonnell Fund and Bumbleance, the Children’s National Ambulance Service as €3300.00 was raised during the event.
